Stephanie Hardy

Executive Director of Hamblen County Substance Abuse Coalition

About

Stephanie Hardy has lived in Hamblen County her whole life, mainly on the east end in the Whitesburg community. She became involved with the Hamblen County Substance Abuse
Coalition around 2009 as a concerned parent wanting to learn about substance abuse prevention. Stephanie became a board member and secretary where she served until January. She then applied and accepted the position of Executive Director of the coalition in January 2023. Stephanie facilitates the Family Recovery Workshops, classes for family members of addicted loved ones, at The Avenue Church.

“The Lord laid it on my heart to lead these classes and then apply for the director’s position that came open after the untimely death of our director, Paul Hyde. Since living with addiction in my own family, I know that if I can tell my story and it help someone, that I am doing what I’m supposed to be doing.”

“There’s always hope for that loved one that has lost their way.”
